My relationship with D.A Larry Kasner started in 2011 at Occupy Philadelphia when i was subsequently arrested at a Oscar Grant protest were we were demonstrating outside of the Philadelphia police headquarters know as the roundhouse . Myself and 10 others were hauled in fingerprinted and throwing in a cell. At this time in my life i had no idea of the experience of being arrested after what felt like a lifetime we saw a bail judge who released me on a RoR “released on your own recognizance” after which i was released and greeted by some of my fellow arrestees we were giving a court date and giving a lawyer Mr Larry Karsner not true He was the law offices that was representing me my assign lawyer was The cool and collected Don Chisholm who i find out later had his bouts but I digress Larry was a friend of the people who represented Many of my fellow activist in the city of Philadelphia he he presented himself as a left-leaning Democrat who we can trust later on I found out that a lot of the promises that Larry had made on the campaign trail such as the looking into of the Mumia Abu Jamal case and verdict a political prisoner who was wrongfully convicted and sentenced how Mumia was not only being framed but was being helped by the justice system that had wrongly convicted many political prisoners during that time it was at this time that I realized that Larry was not a friend of the people but had used many activists and community organizers in the city to gain prominence run for public office when public office and abandoned the politics and beliefs that got him in office the issue with many of these left-leaning das such as Larry is they use many community organizers activists and present themselves as such until it is time to act
